How Does Tuff2Clean Work?
Tuff2Clean uses a unique, patented technology that utilizes both hydraulic and mechanical energy to remove soil and contaminants from sports gear without wear and damage.
- Dirty gear is placed in a mesh bag
- Mesh bags are secured into a cage inside a wash wheel
- Water and detergents are forced into and through gear in 4 wash stages
4 Wash Stages:
Stage 1 – TAK 1
This is an enzyme-based detergent produced by non-pathogenic bacteria, designed to break down protein and oils found in sweat, blood, proteins and fungi. These enzymes destroy the food source of pathogenic bacteria such as Staphylococcus.
Stage 2 – PENETRATOR:
This stage uses a synergistic blend of detergents, detergent builders, water-soluble solvents, and optical enhancing brighteners. The detergent builders and buffered alkalinity maintain an optimum pH of 9.5.
Stage 3 – FORCE ADDITIVE:
This stage uses a built-in scour plus a disinfectant that contains peroxyacetic acid and other oxygen-based bleaching agents. Force Additive is proven effective in killing all forms of bacteria including the feared Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), as well as viruses and mold spores with 99.9997% efficacy.
Stage 4 – SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE:
The final stage implants a fresh odor to the garment. This special formulation is made of a combination of 140 different natural oil extracts.
